CTRL Systems, Inc. develops acoustic ultrasound technologies for leak detection, troubleshooting, condition monitoring, and maintenance applications across aviation and other industries. For more information, visit https://ctrl.aero.
Founded in 1989 and headquartered in Westminster, Maryland, CTRL Systems, Inc. designs and manufactures acoustic ultrasound sensors, acoustic imaging solutions, and software for the aerospace, military, and industrial markets. The company’s UL101 Aviation Troubleshooter (P/N B00033), identified in Boeing tooling references as SPL-1473, helps aircraft maintenance technicians locate leaks in pitot-static, cabin pressurization, bleed air, oxygen, and hydraulic systems. CTRL’s acoustic imaging cameras visualize ultrasonic sound in real time and are offered as functional equivalents to Boeing tool designation COM-18702 under operator tool-equivalency programs. CTRL technology has flown aboard the International Space Station and is in use by airlines, MROs, OEMs, NASA, and the U.S. military. CTRL products are distributed to the aviation market through Barfield, Inc. (an AFI KLM E&M company) and AvionTEq. For more information, visit https://ctrl.aero.
