Where Flexibility Meets Precision — 180° Rotatable Sensor Array
The FOTRIC H-Flex (H6Flex) is the industry's first acoustic imaging camera with a fully rotatable 180° sensor array. It lets technicians inspect overhead, ground-level, and hard-to-reach aviation equipment while keeping their arms low and their back straight — reducing shoulder and lumbar strain and, on energized ground-support gear, keeping the operator outside the arc-flash hazard zone. Behind the ergonomics is the same 162 MEMS digital microphone array as the H-Series, paired with FOTRIC's NaviPdM® AI inspection assistant for leak evaluation and partial discharge diagnostics.

Boeing Tool Coverage
The FOTRIC H-Flex adds a 180° rotatable sensor array to the 162-MEMS H-Series platform — approved-equivalent under Boeing tool tag COM-18702 with ergonomic and arc-flash-safety advantages for overhead and energized-gear inspections.
Task references sourced from Boeing AMM documentation supplied by our customers. Coverage of individual tail-numbers depends on the operator's minor-model / revision applicability.
The FOTRIC H-Flex is offered as an approved-equivalent alternative under airline tool-equivalency programs for Boeing tool tag COM-18702. Its 180° rotatable array is a functional enhancement that supports arc-flash safe distance (>90 cm) on energized ground-support equipment while remaining within the COM-18702 sensing and frequency envelope. Adoption requires the operator's own Part 145 tool-equivalency documentation.
Regulatory Framework
Boeing does not certify third-party alternatives. Tool tags are capability specifications; operators and Part 145 repair stations accept form-fit-functional equivalents through documented tool-equivalency programs. Consult your quality organization before adoption on any specific fleet.
